Requests for shelf-stable food from House of Mercy include hot and cold cereal; rice, mashed potatoes, canned white or sweet potatoes, and stuffing; canned corn, green beans, tomatoes and other vegetables; dried or canned beans; peanut butter and jelly; spaghetti sauce, mac and cheese, and pasta; canned tuna, chicken and other proteins; cans or cups of fruit and juice; ramen and soup; and granola bars and crackers.
Needed toiletries include diapers and wipes, feminine hygiene products, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and deodorant.
